My cats, the best cats in the world!

When my mom and I first saw Minou, she was with about 3 or 4 more kittens in a small cage. We found her at the vet's office in Quebec. I chose her myself because I thought that she was cute, especially since she was a bit on the plump side.
When we took her home, I soon realized that she would be a great cat. I dressed her in doll clothes, stuffed her in a paint can, and we went for walks together. Before we moved to Ontario, we had to give away one of our other cats, his name was Milo. Minou needed a friend, so when we moved, we bought Squeakles. But that didn't work out too well because Squeakles didn't like to play. So, then about a year and a half later, we bought Max. We found him swinging upside down in a cage yowling at the petstore. We fell in love with his cute personality right away, so we took him home.Minou and Max play together almost all the time now, about 5 years later. Minou is still overweight, she weighs about 18 or 19 pounds and if I could fit her into doll clothes, I would still be dressing her up. Even when all my three cats are gone, they will always give me the good memories that we had together.

I have voted you up one,but just one question would you like being dressed up in doll clothes and stuffed in paint can's if you were a animal who wants to be treated like one?

But the story is very nice and entertaining.

Anna, I voted your story up, but I hope you won't mind if I make a few comments.

I'm sure you love your cats, but cats are not toys!! I truly doubt that any cat would enjoy being dressed up in doll clothes and carried around in a paint bucket. Cats are living creatues that we should love and respect.

Also, why buy a cat when there are so many homeless ones that are waiting for a family to rescue them and love them? Also, when a pet is adopted, it should be with the intent that you are their "forever" home. Being a pet guardian is a big responsibility!

So, love your animals and be kind to them, and be sure to have your parents get your pets spayed or neutered so that they won't add to the pet overpopulation problem. I don't know the statistics for Canada, but here in the U.S. there are about 12 million animals destroyed every year due to overpopulation. It is my prayer that this can change and be VERY different - but it will only happen if nice young people like you grow up with the right attitudes towards animals.

Take care, keep writing, and God bless!
