We recently lost our sweet Chloe girl, to an immune deficientcy disease.
I have been trying to lose weight and every day, during the week, I take the furry kids to the park, and they play and I walk.
And since we lost Chloe (it is hard enough to lose one of our furry kids, who are family, but she went from not wanting to eat, and weighinh 55 pounds, to three months later, not being able to eat more than a handful and weighing less than 35 pounds.
We still go to the park every day, but it is just not the same.
On a recent trip, which is by the baseball field, I was walking along, thinking about the last time I took Chloe to the park, this way.
Chloe walked with me, that day, she usually frolics with the other pups.
They like to sniff and play, but Chloe would always find time to get away from the others and run around like she was just enjoying life and that she was enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. And we came upon a baseball and I picked it up. and said, "now Chloe, we need a bat,"
And I was coming to the place where Chloe and I found the ball, and there on the ground was a baseball bat.
I just looked up and said "thanks sweet girl!" I had no doubt where it came from....Chloe was always trying to please and she had a heart as big as Texas.
